Anyone who cares about these dogs should try to save a homeless Pit Bull before adding more dogs to a completely saturated market.

This is a plea to those of you thinking about breeding Pit Bulls or buying one from a breeder. Please look at your local shelter and think again. Remember that most animal shelters have a no-adopt policy for Pit Bulls. These dogs are automatically destroyed just for being Pit Bulls, even the puppies.

If you breed your Pit Bull and can’t find homes for all the puppies your dog may produce, YOU will be responsible for the deaths of the remaining puppies if they are taken to a kill shelter. You will also be responsible for each of the other Pit Bulls who forfeit their chance and give their lives to make room for your puppies at the shelter.

If you are interested in buying a pure bred Pit Bull from a breeder, know this: There are pure bred Pit Bulls at the CCSPCA and in local rescues on ANY given day. Blue Nose, Red Nose, Brindle, White and black color Pit Bulls are always abuntantly available. And if it is a puppy you desire, there are many Pit Bull puppies to choose from at all of the local Fresno area shelters or rescues.

DID YOU KNOW?

In this country tax-payers spend $1 Billion dollars annually to pick up, house, and euthanize homeless animals. If only 5% of that total were allocated to spay/neuter programs, we could open 250 public, low-cost spay/neuter clinics across the country and sterilize more than 4 Million animals each year.

By just fixing 1 you can save Millions.
